Christal Pérez is an interdisciplinary artist and writer based in Los Angeles, California.  She makes work about gore, tech, memory and death, to investigate how suspensions of law and human rights, lead to a perpetual hauntological necrostate.

She recieved a B.A. in Art from UCLA in 2019, and an M.A. in Art History at Williams College in 2022.  She has shown at Vincent Price Art Museum, Marfa Book Company in TX, The Box, Giovanni’s Room Los Angeles, New Wright Gallery, Cal Arts, Placeholder Gallery, USC MFA Roski Studios, Human Resources, Last Projects, The Reef and Palos Verdes Art Center, to name a few.
